September 2010

We went to the Fair. Maddy loved the horses.
She kept saying "Nay, Nay, Nay."
Waiving to the camera.
My friend's husband made this sculpture out of
butter. I guess they melt it down and reuse it
to make a new on each year.
Maddy was so tired after the Fair she wanted
to read her book. I was laughing so hard she
had it upside down, but didn't seem to mind!
We had to take this picture. We love the way
she sleeps with her bum in the air.
We went to Angie's house before the Huskie vs
BYU game. Maddy loved George's rope swing
in their backyard.
Everyone getting pumped up for the big game!
Maddy and I flew up to see Grandma Nyalene
in Seattle. She had fun on the airplane
and made lots of friends!
Maddy giving me a "cheese" smile down
by the pond at Grandma Nyalene's house.
We took a trip to downtown Seattle with
Grandma Nyalene to see Pike's
Place Market.
The guys behind the counter pulled on that
black fish to our left and scarred us
pretty good!
It was so fun the watch them throw the fish!
We had to sit and take a picture on the famous pig.

We walked down to the pier to look at
the water. This was the first time
Maddy had seen the Ocean. She loved
hanging out with Grandma.
Grandma was trying to get Maddy
to smile!

Maddy was tired at the end of our trip.
I love this picture with Seattle in the
background.
We went to visit Bryan, Amy, Kayla, Ashley,
& Mya. Maddy loved being around
all the girls!
We also went to see Cousin Dana and Tyler and their two kids.

August 2010

A couple weeks before Maddy turned 1, I got
out her big girl car seat and couldn't get
her out of it!
Happy First Birthday to Me!!!
Grandpa and Grandma Coons gave Maddy her first
rocking chair. It fit her perfectly!
Maddy took the time to explain how to rock back and forth!
Maddy had lots of presents to open!
The Cake! She started off slow, but it didn't take long...
stopped to thank mommy for it soon would be gone...
smiles and giggles it was fun while it lasted...
a little unsure could it really be over...
yes she was done, hit her wall but had a ball.
Maddy had fun playing with ALL of her toys.
When it was time to clean up, she didn't last long
By the time she put everything away she was out!
Maddy with Grandpa and Grandma Coons on
their porch in her new rocking chair

Maddy joined Great Grandma Coons and
Grandma Coons for grown up Girl talk.
Maddy and I went to the Children's Museum
with Kristy, Dylan, Angie and George.
It was so fun to go to all of the little
play/dress up areas they had. We had to
stop at the little kid kitchen. She makes such
a cute little chef!
She was all smiles
Learning how to turn on the stove at such
a young age! Scary :)
Our little farm girl decided to mow the lawn.
They had this little Bird's House in the infant
play area. I couldn't resist to put her in it.
Maddy loved to play with her Cousin George!
Maddy getting ready to take off in a helicopter
with her Cousin Dylan. (Some random girl
decided to join them for the picture)

July 2010

Happy 4th & 24th of July!
I love her smile in this one.
Grandpa and Grandma Coons brought back a
couple of shirts for Maddy and her Cousin
Boston from their trip to Myrtle Beach.
We were finally able to do a pony tail on top of
her head that she didn't immediately pull out!
We went with Grandma and Grandpa Coons to
see Colin Ray in Concert. Maddy loved the music!

Maddy's first time on the ski biscuit. She loved it!

Aunt Kristy leading everyone in synchronized boating!
Brendan showing his Gangster attitude with his friends!
Kristy skiing, she was so good!
The sun was already starting to set but she
still managed to pull off a beautiful ski even
if it was freezing!
Yea, Mom threw Maddy in the lake.
She fussed at first but got used to it.
We started to wonder if Dad was keeping her warm! (wink, wink)
Just cruisin along!
We couldn't resist to take this shot.
The strap was wedged to far!
Hilarious but, poor kid.
Then she was out!
