June 2011-Myrtle Beach

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Maddy was so

excited to see the sand and water!

Maddy's cousin bought a hermit crab.

She was excited to see it, but wouldn't touch it!

We walked out to the edge of the pier and

watched the tiger sharks come up to eat!

It was a little creepy to see the people

swimming a few yards away!

Madelyn loves her Grandma Coons, and when

she saw Sylvia's sister, Gail, she had a hard

time telling them apart. She was so excited

to have 2 Nanna's!

We went to a little cafe on the pier for lunch.

Madelyn had to bring her turtle we bought

the day before.

Maddy found a huge bear and she wouldn't let go!

When it rained, it poured. All wet!

All Dry

We drove up to Mount Airy North Carolina

to meet the Hiatt side of the family.

We are out in front of Jason's

Great Grandpa's house.

Down the street was Jason's Grandpa's house.

Maddy made friends with her cousin "juicy."

They had a lot of fun!

photos and thought we had better take one

just in case the rain never stopped!

March to May 2011

Vegas here we come! Madelyn all set

with her headphones and Elmo!

We went to Circus Circus to watch a

flying trapeze act!

Jason won Maddy a ginormous

bear at Circus Circus!

Madelyn loved her bear!

Maddy couldn't believe how big the fish were!

She liked the M&M's at a distance,

but was not a fan up close.

Madelyn had to get a bag, she loves purses.

We stopped in the Hawaiian Marketplace

and thought of Grandma Nyalene!

Dad took Maddy's binkie,

she wasn't too sure about that!

A perfect end to a perfect day!

November 2010

We went in our backyard for a little fun in the snow!

Maddy was a little unsure but started to pat the snow.

After a couple snow balls, snow angels and

snow pop sickles she was done :)

We had Thanksgiving with Jason's Family this

year. Maddy had fun seeing all of her cousins

again. She was so comfortable she even

started throwing around her gang signs!

Maddy made a new life buddy. She didn't

let her cousin Porter put her down!

October 2010

Happy Halloween! Maddy wore a

bumblebee costume to go trick or

treating. She only lasted a couple of

houses, but had fun!

And in the right corner we have Bumblebee

starring down Mr Monkey!

Maddy looked like a little dancer when she

took off her bee costume. I love this picture

of Maddy and Grandpa Coons.

We also went to Grandpa & Grandma's for a

Halloween Party. Jason was Peter Pan, I was

Wendy and Maddy was Tinker Bell.

Maddy tried on Aunt Jill's Marilyn Monroe's Wig.

We went to a pumpkin patch to pick out our

pumpkins.

Maddy and cousin Boston had a fun ride in the

wagon to the pumpkins.

Yes, she picked out the littlest one!

Jason's brother Matt took us up butterfield

canyon for our family pictures this year!

This one is our Christmas Card this year.

It looks like Maddy is saying

"Merry Christmas."

We only went camping once this year, but we

had a blast.

Maddy and Daddy just relaxing on the hammock.

Maddy loved Grandpa's scooter. She kept

saying "vroom vroom" every time she

would see it.

Maddy enjoyed throwing rocks in the river.

We decided to go up hiking, man did that front

pack get heavy!

We went to Cornbelly's Corn maze at

Thanksgiving Point with Kristy, Angie

and their kids.

We also went with Kristy and her kids to Jungle Jim's.

This picture is so funny of Jason drinking his

soda while Maddy drives.

So Maddy wanted to go with Emma in the

bumper cars. Dylan thought it would be funny

to bump into them, as you do in a bumper car.

Maddy would glare at him every time he hit

them like she was trying to say

"how dare you." It was hilarious!
